SoL To Undergo Multi-Million-Pound Investment Programme

East Stand has the most sun, it's because they weren't cheap crap. If they bought decent seats then it shouldn't be a problem but obviously Donald and co wouldn't do that.

No doubt the cheapest rubbish they could get their hands on.
This.

No, I based on on wikipedia. For stadiums, it states the surface on the right hand side.

For comparison

Fair enough mate 👍. Tip - always base your research on something more reliable than Wikipedia, if possible.

I've never smoked astroturf.
Years ago I went to see the brilliant Peter Osgood at a football talk-in. He was one of the pioneers of "soccer" in the USA after a stellar career in England. Back then, a lot of the American soccer teams played their games on plastic surfaces. He was chatting to one of the American players and asked "do you prefer grass or astroturf?". The American lad's response was exactly per your quote 😂.
Does anybody know if we still doing stadium tours? Can’t see any online
Stadium tours have stopped for now and will resume around the start of next season. Tours wouldn't feasible (or safe, for that matter) with so much work going on in the stadium/with the pitch. For the graduation ceremonies the tunnel area/dugouts gets covered by scaffolding and a stage, so that entire area is out of bounds.

Must’ve watched Only Fools then, as it’s a famous Rodney quote.
We haven't, the current pitch has artificial grass woven in.

Yes, this article confirms it. It’s never been a full on desso pitch or equivalent, which I think is what we are getting now. It seems like it was a bit of a make to and mend a couple of years back, which sounds apt for SAFC tbh.

Is the new surface one of the hybrid grass and turf ones?

We’ve always been 100% grass until now.
We haven't, the current pitch or the one ripped up has artificial grass woven into the base also.

Info in this post from a couple of years back.
