Edit: Just looked and graduations are Monday 8th July & Friday 12th July, 2 concerts 4th & 5th July with Kids Summer Party Sunday 14th July

nope the grass was reinforced last summer with a latticework of twine for support through the grass!This is a complete new system and i dont know which one they have gone for but it will be grass and some sort of artificial support to keep grass together and improve drainage .whatever form we end up with it will be hybrid that's for sure.

Personally think we should change all of the seats for white ones and then they’ll never fade again. Would mean doing the HA’WAY THE LADS in red and a change to the badge on the East stand, but would save money in the long run. There are all sorts of things they could do with red seats on a white background to make it look good. Juventus’ stadium is primarily white, but they’ve made it look interesting.

It’s noticeable that the left two thirds of the East stand that Short installed are a lot more red in colour than the ones that Donald and Methven bought. Stoke’s haven’t faded at all since they replaced all theirs. Must be a higher quality of plastic. Even Liverpool must’ve ballsed up with the spec of the seats in their main stand — they’ve gone pink as well. For all the stick Man United get about Old Trafford, they seem to be able to keep their seats in good nick.

East Stand has the most sun, it's because they weren't cheap crap. If they bought decent seats then it shouldn't be a problem but obviously Donald and co wouldn't do that.

No doubt the cheapest rubbish they could get their hands on.

Always thought to save money on faded seats, that the bottom deck around the North, South and East should be white, with red in the upper deck,

It appears like that, but it’s definitely because of spec being different. If you look at pictures of the East stand from before Donald arrived you’ll notice the two thirds that he did. Compare them that to now and the rest of the seats that Donald paid for have all faded at the same rate and are noticeably lighter than those two thirds.
