Better quality seats. The middle of the east stand at the ssol is fine, better quality seats there
That’s nonsense. The middle of the east stand is replaced every year so they don’t look pink on the official team photo.

Monorail! Monorail! As Bruce has said on a few interviews this year, once the 2nd season is guaranteed in the Premier that's when significant investment from sponsors etc. want a part of the club. Because of this I reckon we will see an announcement of some kind on major stadium infrastructure (not just fixtures and fittings) when we know we are still in the top flight next season
Why didn't they move the road ? In the grand scheme of things it wouldn't have cost much. It's because of the road.
The original design illustrations showed the whole corner to be 6-7 rows shorter then the West Stand (there's a pic kicking about somewhere), rather than half/half that we ended up with.
Edit, here's the pic....

As long as we keep our manager and Granit for the long term along with 70% of our present squad we will not be relegated next season thats for sure but its likely we will lose sadiki in the summer but im confident our owners and recruitment team have a plan for replacements. As Bruce has said on a few interviews this year, once the 2nd season is guaranteed in the Premier that's when significant investment from sponsors etc. want a part of the club. Land ownership, or lack of, and a reluctance to part with funds, probably. Why didn't they move the road ? In the grand scheme of things it wouldn't have cost much.
I reckon the biggest driver to the extension will be how corporate sales are going, if we are maxed out with the current facilities and have a big demand for more then that will tick more boxes than "normal" season ticket / match tickets.
Any extension will include lounge areas like 76 yards and founders as they give a better return per seat.
Wouldn't be shocked to see things happen this summer the way things are going
You've got a one track mind, marra. What we really need now to bring it all together is a monorail.

Is this a Whoosh?Because you then would have had to move the aquatic centre
But SAFC didn't own the land though did they ?Is this a Whoosh?
North stand was extended 2000 and aquatic centre opened 2008.
Remember when England played at the SoL and loads of buses parked on the land that is now the Aquatic Centre / BoL. The Aquatic Centre feels very close to the North Stand, even a few metres back would have been better. Is this a Whoosh?

You’re wrong. That’s nonsense. The middle of the east stand is replaced every year so they don’t look pink on the official team photo.
it'll depend on the ownership of the land. i imagine the road is a public highway, the aqautic centre land owned by the council or central government, and the SoL owned by SAFC.
its not as easy as just 'moving the road'
We will have 3 newly promoted clubs next season so straight away life should be easier for SAFC. So long as the club is in competent hands with sound governance then I honestly think we'll be in Premier League for foreseeable future. As others have noted, that lends itself to the club being more attractive to commercial sponsors and provides greater certainly of success for any plans to expand capacity, both commercial and non commercial. As long as we keep our manager and Granit for the long term along with 70% of our present squad we will not be relegated next season thats for sure but its likely we will lose sadiki in the summer but im confident our owners and recruitment team have a plan for replacements.
Im very conflicted at the moment as i would love safc to rub it in to the naysayers and relegated by chrimbo **** artists and win a european slot but i would be really concerned about the pressure that would put on the squad for what will be our most important season this century.
Some of our better players will be cherry picked as that always happens to newly promoted sides in the second season but as i said keep hold of RLB and Granite and we will be fine.
There is a buzz around the club and the city at the moment and if we spend wisely in january it might even be heard in parliament and get more investment for our wonderful city.
Personally i think they will announce next summer plans to extend the south stand with work to begin at the end of the following season.
