SOL expansion

With all the development in or around the city. Along with new housing planned for the sheepfolds it wouldn’t surprise me if KLD & co are planning on both improving & extending the SoL.

Sunlun as a city is on the up, we need the SoL to continue being a focal point of this with all the great things happening! Of course, we need to establish ourselves as a top flight club first.

The football is almost secondary.

If the guys running the club want us to also be a first class events location too then they'll extend and put in more corporate regardless of what league we're in. The two aren't interlinked. The added capacity as a result of extending the corporate bits would be a bonus.
Is it true Sir Bob bought all the steel to take it upto 63k & it's kept in storage somewhere?
That would be mental!

I hope it's true.

Soon the SOL will be the only thing that lets the sheepfolds area down - needs to brought up to scratch inside and most definitely outside

External long term borrowing. Exactly what a proper large company would do.
Would this make the value of the owners shares more or less?
Additional long term debt and possibly maintenance costs against increased asset value and income generation.
I'd love to see some clever folk design some prototypes for a big fancy South Stand extension and what it could look like from the exterior.
If it happens they have to get the external appearance top drawer and to tie in with an east stand extension.

Probably broadly neutral,

Your last sentence being the key point that seems to be lost on more than a few

No mate its not lost on a few ! my opinion is that at the moment there is no need to increase the stadiums capacity..but there is a caveat ..if were going to spend millions and making significant structural changes to the sol for corporate facilities it would be common sense to add extra seats in the process as it would only be a small part of the overall cost ,bring in revenue and make complete financial sense ...Now that key point is lost on many and not a few!I couldnt give a fek about empty seats and perceived lack of atmosphere .We need to be smart with our money and im confident our owners will spend their money wisely!
