There would not be a higher profile candidate, in terms of football pedigree.

Very erudite and confident man also so would interview better than most.

He called me a racist*. I am not, so he can do one.

*Actually he called ALL Sunderland fans who attended a match v Spurs at Roker Park, racist, so maybe he accused you as well? He claimed the 'whole' crowd was giving him racist abuse. The slight drawback in his 'story' is that it turns out the only time he played at Roker Park for Spurs was an FA Cup game and that match was screened live on terrestial TV in the UK and nobody seems to remember any racist chanting at all at the game.

I am not a racist, but I do think Mr Campbell is a fantacist (and that's being generous to him).

No need to debase the discussion with such spiteful comments. Sol has done a lot to advance the cause of bringing “racism the red card”. We cannot imagine the vile abuse players like him had to take from narrow minded people hiding in a crowd.
