Depends how you define "worked". Even if they do stay up this season the majority will be fighting relegation next season and back in the championship within 5 yrs.

Of course it is also possible that the upturn in form is due to Crystal Palace spending £35m in January strengthening the team, and Swansea spending £18m, while we spent minus £12m.

We're underperforming too. We're a disorganised rabble.
A better manager would have us out of the bottom 3. We wouldn't have had to be that much better for that to have happened.
