I ended up watching the last 2 sets of the Berrettini match. First time I've actually seen him, although I am aware of his great year and rise up the rankings. He was often playing catch up and for a lot of the time looked more likely to be broken, but he was so clutch and saved a lot of break points, and he did have the serve to get him a lot of free points, which Diego doesn't have.

Not sure if he'll be able to live with Federer on Monday, but I'll definitely be tuning in for it.

Two sets in a row Evans has been a break up deep into the set, but lost 4 games in a row to drop it. 4-2 to 4-6 and then 5-3 to 5-7.

Evans is up a break in the 4th, so will probably happen here as well.

So hard to call this one. It would be great if there was a British man and woman in the second week.

Come on Dan!

I like Dan Evans, his ‘I’ll win this point or die doing it..’ is so refreshing these days from an English sportsperson.

Good game this, Sousa is also a tough gritty bugger tbh

Gutted for Dan, up 4-2, 5-3 and 2-1 (with a break) in the 3 sets he lost. Will struggle to get a better chance than that to make the 2nd week of Wimbledon, but well done Sousa, great moment for him. Good match. So the last 16 is set on both sides.
