Nadal owns Tsitsipas to be fair, still think he has the beating of Medvedev over 5 sets as well. If Djokovic can somehow overcome his career threatening injury to beat Zverev then he pretty much has a bye to the final.

Potentially could have Serena v Halep with the winner to play Osaka with the winner of that to play Barty, not half bad that mind.

Osaka's the real deal (so is Barty to be fair) but would like to see her with some proper competition. Pre injuries and pregnancy Azarenka is a level or two above anything in WTA now.
 
At what point will Djokovic retire from this match and blame his career threatening injury then? Zverev totally dominating.
Zverev :D biggest bottle job in tennis.

Zverev determined to double-fault his way out of the competition. Wasted so many good opportunities with unforced errors and bloody double-faults. Djokovic is there for the taking, if Zverev would stop handing him escape routes.

He obviously has some sort of mental block, threw away the US open last year against a half fit Thiem aswel.
 
Dimtrov despite being legit injured managed to win the 1st set before his painkillers wore off and he couldnt move.
Dont give the opponent any chance of doing anything against djokovic in the semis.
Zverev dissapointing again as hes had so many opportunities to have won this in 4 sets :(
Williams v osaka semi final, feels like a final. Williams will have to have beaten sabalenka, halep, osaka in a row and then maybe Barty in the final.

Sounds strange but Nadal is the best player left in that side of the draw yet has the least chance of beating Djokovic , he just can’t do anything against him on a hardcourt anymore.
 
How have they still not changed that dumb schedule for the men's semi finals? Djokovic against Karatsev on Thursday night, Nadal/Tsitispas v Meddy Bear/Rublev on Friday night. No other Slam does anything that stupid and yet these lot do it every year.

Although if Djokovic rolls through comfortably and the other one goes five sets it gives the internet another reason to be in uproar so maybe it's a good thing :lol:
