Great seeing two of the best of all time at the same time, it's Messi v Ronaldo without the rest of the team, the standard is unbelievable.Well, that was pretty much amazing!
Quite tempted by Federer. If it goes out to 2/1 then I might put a fair bit on. Probsvly more likely to come in if anything.Early odds are Djokovic 4/9, Federer 7/4.
The last person to win the Men's singles who wasn't one of the top 3 1/2 of Federer, Djokovic, Nadal & Murray was Leyton Hewitt in 2002!
You'd have thought someone would have broken through in all that time, just show what a grip they've had on the game for a generation, and how significant Murray's efforts really were in context.
It's crazy and it's not that much different across the 3 other slams either, bar one or two surprise winners here and there, and judging by the level on display just there and some of the meek performances from some of the younger generation in the early rounds here, it doesn't look like changing anytime soon.
So it'll either be Fed on 21 or Novak 16, that's significant. Fed 6 ahead and Novak will have work to do to catch him, but just 4 and they could be level by the 2020 versions of Wimbledon or the US Open. Really hope it's 21.
