Mind did you see the thing that his brothers made this year, with Brandy in?
Maybe we should create an SMB letterboxd so we can see at a glance what’s worth a watch!
There is a PODCAST for that

Me with a lot of Wes Anderson films.
I read a review that called the second half of his career an exercise in interior design and found it hard not to laugh or agree.
Just been to see this at Dalton Park and you’ve pretty much summed up my take on it. Very dark and atmospheric as you’d expect it to be.Nosferatu (2024)
Robert Eggers version of the 1920’s original vampire film. A command of tone that is typical of an Eggers film (flashes of The Witch, The Lighthouse and The Northman) that builds the suspense brilliantly for the first hour. A gothic nightmare unfolding with enormous dread. Lily-Rose Depp delivering an excellent performance. Aaron Taylor Johnson, Emma Corrin and a very good Nicholas Hoult performance are backed up by a typically committed performance by Willem Dafoe.
I found the first half more engrossing than the second but any slight problems I had with the second half can be forgiven when the direction, cinematography and score are taken into account. The Count’s castle in particular is chilling.
7/10

Wadnt bother.Going to watch this after the darts.
Absolute tripe that film, worst I seen last year. Steve McQueen chucking the race card in so banal.Blitz (2024) - 5/10 - Very average with a large dose of clichéd story telling.
Yeah, I was being generous with my score I think. It was very amateurish and obvious.Absolute tripe that film, worst I seen last year. Steve McQueen chucking the race card in so banal.
Does Jamie Bamber play Jamie Bamber as usual?Watching Strangers again. Good film.

Daughter and her husband went to see it on NYD. They both thought it was excellent, and they often have different tastes in films.I'm really looking forward to Nosferatu but probably won't get chance to see it until next week.
My expectations have been slightly lowered though since 2 friends whose opinions I trust went yesterday and both were hugely disappointed by it, calling out the acting, the script and most worryingly for me, they said it was boring and "felt like it was about 5 hours long".
Just watched Noseferatu. Looked amazing, but just not scary enough.
