Worked in Birmingham and the Black Country for a few years lates 80’s and way into the 90’s. Have a fondness of the people and area.
Like the NE the Manufacturing Industry in the area was hit hard.
Had some cracking nights out as well.

me and our lass off down there later this month to see Depeche Mode. We’re staying 2 nights. Great night out and surrounding areas are canny.

I mean if you’re splitting hairs then the whole sentence is meaningless as Yam is “you are” and “yowze” should be “yow” ie “you” so basically it’s saying “ You are considerably richer than you”.

Youse is more of a scouse or parts of the North East phrase.

I don't mind any of our regional accents. For a very small country to have so many it must be some sort of a record .

It will be tragic when they are all lost which I suppose they inevitably will be given a couple of hundred years. I would be awful if people began to talk in a monotone like those horrible AI machines. HAL the computer in the movie 2001 isn't too far away
