The pinging sound of elastic on skin when a lass puts her knickers on.
Prefer the sound of them sliding off me like but each to his own.

  • Chilling in a steam room and/or sauna

I think you’re doing this wrong marra!

They’re always cutting the grass around here - love that smell
Waking up early as the sun is rising
The smell of our lass’s dreadlocks
The way the bairn kisses me on the forehead and actually says “mmmah” as she does it.
Coming in from a run and plunging in the pool
Reading about people moaning about the shite weather back home and thinking ‘thank Christ I moved or I’d be dead by now’
Any version of outdoor eating and drinking
The smell of some neighbour’s wood barbecue firing up (mine’s gas!)
Having some time to kill and finding a class film about to start on the telly

[QUOTE="janiep, post: 27370337, member: 5265"]Good thread.
  • An 11 hour train journey with a great book.
  • The camellia in the garden that someone must have planted thirty years ago has just flowered - huge, pink, wonderful.
  • Cheese.
  • He's having a Sunday nap in front of the footie, looking happy as.
