What's the point in having Young sitting on the bench all season?

He'll go out on loan, if patto gets injured, he'll be recalled and become our no 1.

Experience? I’m sure he’d still be playing in the u21s too don’t think a season as number two would do much harm to him tbh as people seem to be high on the lad. Let’s be honest if Patto does stay if we do t go up he will be gone next season, I’d rather groom the lad to takeover by giving him cup games and getting him integrated into the squad ready for next year.
