Simon Grayson - please go now. Cheers.

We are in deep shit. He decides to have a go at fans. Only those who have been to an away match down south midweek are entitled to criticise apparently.

How about sorting out our defence out instead of getting involved in such nonsense?
Cos he already knows he can't hack it. He wants out. Hope I am wrong, of course l am, but I saw it in his eyes and face after Ipswich.
Any manager knows the quickest way to get the boot is to slag the fans, nailed on sacking millions in the bank. He's thrown in the towel, earlier than anyone else.

Also, as someone who was at Ipswich on a Tuesday night, they were atrocious. I'm genuinely worried for anyone who thought that was a decent show. This team should be at least mid table but the players seem genuinely terrified of doing something positive with the ball. We're slow and and bereft of ideas going forward. We're slow and bereft of ideas at the back.

Bain had a face like thunder from when their first went in and barely took his eyes off Grayson most of the match.

I remember last week debating with you and me defending Grayson, Tuesday night and his press conference today, I am struggling to defend him now mate.

I've been one of Grayson's vocal supporters on here, however his comments about why he dropped Ruiter, to these comments about the fans to the fact he can't get a one note tune out of his squad has me worried. We seem to have ended up with another duff.

Our managers have either been too confrontational (Keane, Di Canio & Poyet), semi retired/finished (MON, Dick, Moyes) or a guy who gets caught out after a couple of years with his every club (Bruce). Who knows what would have happened within Allardyce.

I thought we had something different in Grayson, a guy who knew this league and would at least make us competitive. So far he looks the most clueless of them all.

He'd be better off asking himself why the fans are not attending. I would think the fans not attending know a damn sight more than nothing.
Exactly. No need for this comment. He may have been led down this cul-de-sac by a journalist, but it's naive, from a supposed experienced manager.

Baring in mind performances, what exactly did he expect, from people. Full stadium and everyone singing Kumb by ya?

Thanks for the memories Simon, get back to watching a team you are happy for, Preston

Sunderland has always had unbelievable support away from home, even through the shit of the last few years and for him to even try and have a pop at the fans is a joke
It's not those fans, it's armchair fans crawling out of the woodwork

You know the 60 thousand odd, at least, worldwide, who can't attend. They should keep their traps shut.

You've just described about 90% of the managers in the game there mind.

I've always said as long as I can afford it I will have a season ticket, but I very much doubt I will be renewing after this season. In fact I'm in two minds about going to the QPR game. Defeat after defeat has ground me down, it's not enjoyable in fact it's embarrassing getting on the bus to go to the game.
Sympathies mate, but your none attendance, means you can't voice an opinion. This is his jibe today. Non attenders, have no right to comment

I saw my first match on September 20th 1957 that was 60 years ago. I was pretty much forced to stop going four years ago so my SC went. I have seen a few games since but no wins. Haven't seen them for eighteen months now, I think I earned the right to say what I feel. Get that incompetent person (for want of a better word) out of our club.

Well I'm no bookmaker but would suggest that the odds on the likelihood of us being in any of the three options available to us would be something like
Championship 1/1
League One 1/1
Premier League 500/1
Not really bothered about the odds, we will still be championship next year

No it isn't. Nothing he said was right which goes with everything else he has done here that has been far from right.
He has done something's right, he's signed some good players for the money he has had, mcgeady, mcmamanan, Williams , he's also signed some shite ones. Judge a manager by xmas instead of after 10 games.

I know you don't like swearing, so I will do it for you.
