Simon Adingra 🇨🇮 Signed!

Points was a mistype, corrected in an edit.

This is my last post on the topic because it’s clear I’m in the minority but I don’t really see why it’s controversial. If we’d asked a few weeks back would you be happy if the same team, minus Jobe and Watson, would play for 10% of the season I doubt anyone would have agreed that we’d be successful. It strikes me as a huge gamble to take.
Has the window closed?

This regime always takes gambles. Whether it's not signing older players and fans saying theyre wrong, or not signing cannon and Diaz and being told theyre wrong. They don't care and will do it their way and theyre usually right.

Not worth worrying about something theyre going to do regardless

And?

He didn’t have cramp in the first half man.

We were awful and while he was not solely to blame he was the captain and wasn’t changing anything to help.

When he went off and Le Fee dropped back we won the game.
It's massively over played how bad he supposedly was in the 1st half. He was ok without being brilliant until about the 60th minute. At that point he seemed to hit a brick wall

Aye if it was the end of the transfer window right now I'd agree with you.

If we dont sign a goalkeeper and at least 1 cb I'd be astonished

Can’t turn it down to be fair , life changing at that age when you don’t don’t what future holds
You can and many players do, in favour of staying where you are getting loads of game time rather than chasing money. He will have gotten increased wages here if he never moved, even if we never got promoted. He left because his agent got in his ear and he wasn't mature and wise enough to ignore it.

All the players who have left us for bigger things have flopped btw.

That last statement not true is it , Henderson , Pickford for example my point is at the time he had a chance to go to an established prem club and 20x his wages , I’d have stayed but I’m Sunderland daft to the point logic wouldn’t come into it , hindsight easy and after final I do think he will regret it, wish the lad well
