Do you not think it is reasonable for people to be concerned those additions are not coming and we might be in for another tier 3 mediocre season?

Absolutely spot on. Some on here think because we have a new owner everything is great again. Sadly, the facts are starring people in the face. The club may have a new billionaire owner to everything is being done on the cheap. The lack of signings is nothing short of disgraceful. The idiots on here will say the window isn’t closed yet and shut up and be patient. If the club was well ran the players would be in already to make sure we hit the ground running but that isn’t the aim clearly.

Why hire the support team he has? Why paint the stadium, why relay the pitch? Dead money if he's a cheapskate.
 
Does hitting the panic button actually do anything to arrest the fall of the club? All this talk of happy clappers versus moaners strategies, panic or don’t panic, protest or don’t protest, it’s all entirely inconsequential to the outcome in the league standings. People could do a “NUFC-style riot”, trash the offices and hold protests every day ending in “y”………….it still wouldn’t alter the outcome of the league. No amount of apathy or affirmative action changes things!
Sit back enjoy the ride….(or not), whatever your persuasion is….

The painting, EPOS, new boardroom staff and everything does seem to be a case of empty gestures. Things done by KLD to show he is ‘doing something’. But it is not enough. It doesn’t influence our progress on the pitch. The big meaningful things are things like making statement signings. Or showing the fans we can at least compete with the top clubs in L1 for the best players in the league.

Aye, have to agree so far we signed 2 injury prone out of contract champo players so far but still a couple of weeks of the window left

Bringing in the right players Quinny said the same, some of them hardly kicked a ball in anger many we couldn’t give away. I believe nothing anyone says but I know we are a few players short. a couple of injuries and we are done for.

It does indirectly affect a lot of things.

There isn’t much point in employing supermarket checkout staff if there isn’t any food on the shelves, the tills don’t work and pigeons are shitting onto the customers.

The maintenance and upkeep of the stadium has been neglected and is necessary, otherwise the expense will be greater at another time.

As an experiment you could ignore the maintenance of your car and/or house and see what happens in 5 years.
 
Going o be no silence in the SoL today... love the 1st game of the season and we'll be 3 up by half time 😎

Couple of quality signings through the door next week and we'll be looking good for automatics
