but financially it has become better over toime..and on the ptchw e are in the same divison..so not worse..your linking the bvalue of the club to short term performance on the pitch and thats wrong..

yep he bought a business for a profit..same as every other owner...personal gain is the motivation..
3190m..that substantial enough for you?
by the way the story is eight figures..so minimum

What the fuck are you blithering on about?

Earlier in the thread I posted that he’s suggested they’re putting money back into the club as I expected them to.

Seriously what is your problem?

Who do you think told RR and ALS? Oh and Donald has mentioned a takeover.
lots of people could have told them..any club employee..yes donald mentioned takeover once but avoided it dozens of times..thinsg change in business all the time..when this tory broke the US economy and world economy looked in better shape..and labour in the uk havdnt yet revealed their polciy to make clubs fan owned-all of those things make the valie of inestments in football clubs fsll..so mayeb they justdecided not to do that?

I think our owners are regarded highly in football circles as an example of how a club should be run. I can understand the investors wanting to maintain the current structure.
They may be good at keeping costs low as a business but ultimately we’re a football club and despite having every conceivable advantage we failed last season and are struggling this season. They may be able to turn things around with more financial power but I can only judge them how they have faired so far which is badly.

Things did change. It went from a takeover to investment. Also if you think any employee could have told them such information then you're either very naive or as thick as 2 short planks.

Not all 55 critical, I’ve read the forum for years but I’ve never really wanted to voice my opinion before as the club hasn’t been this bad in my lifetime, and most of the stuff about the takeover was getting posted on here so i wanted to be able to ask questions as everyone seemed to know something. Is that ok? And you will see most of my posts have probably been in the last two/three days.

Amazing how 3 year olds can post these days.

What the fuck does that mean?

Dont agree. I reckon it was set to be a takeover early on. There was never any denials to play the initial reports down.
they said as gfar back as april investment was what they wanted..they cant deny every work of fcition publushed by journalists about them..that would be a full tiem job..i mean thete is a journalist out there so stupid he didnt know how to read a companyfiling and thought SD was worth only £8.5m..they cant watse their precious time dealing with the cretins of the wold..

What ever the investment amount is, one thing is certain - Hill and Coton must NOT be allowed to spend it.

The club desperately need to employ an experienced director of football or whatever the title is and allow him to run football operations.
How about the ex Celtic lad Campbell's takeover were going to bring in.

people change their minds and the yanks have jad loads of reasons in the past quarter to change their minds..

he had never worked as a director of football in his life..and admitted he doesnt use modern scouting methods..also was stupid enough to ally himself with a fantasist and spoofer like mark campbell so sounds not terribly bringht..

Unless an economic downturn results in unemployment and then you cant buy a season ticket so not exactly paleing into insignificance imo
Got a few things I could sell and 2 working kidneys so I'd be ok, unless we started charging Arsenal prices.

This wasnt newspapers- this was a story broken by fanzines- obviously having been fed by the club.
