Seems FPP group have completed deal for eight-figure investment in . No official confirmation from club or Companies House as yet, but Methven has been talking about it as a done deal. Will leave ownership structure unchanged - Donald 74%, Sartori 20%, Methven 6%

If FPP is putting in cash without taking a stake in return, does that make it effectively a loan (or, less likely, a gift)?

Very interesting

as the investment isnt actually taking a stake in the club, what actually is this investment classed as?

A loan, gift ?
a loan to the company that owns safc. legally SD and CM dont own sunderland their company does,
just as when ellis came in..he bought the company that owned safc then (drumaville) not safc..
