Both Anderson and Robinson didn't look fully fit for me, the latter was bowling sub 80mph for the majority of the game. Woakes edges it over Potts due to his record at Lords

Would have been pointless playing Wood on that pitch. Slow with little bounce. You want him skidding on a hitting the bat hard and fast and not like an under 13 off a long run banging it in

Potts bowled well at Lords last year. Plenty movement off the pitch exaggerated by the slope (4/13 & 3/55 against NZ)

Root was excellent like, hard to tell if they just played him like as so nervous

He can’t bowl to right handers but is excellent to lefties

Stokes bowled nicely day 5 so bit torn as to if we really need 4 seamers and then stokes?

It might help him, but we can’t take a risk if he’s not 100% fit to bowl whenever required.

We can’t have2 front line bowlers who are crocked …..again
