Sheffield Wednesday possible -15 points next season

Or they'll get a 60 point deduction spread over many seasons, e.g. starting each of the next six seasons with -10. That way they can still qualify for champs league each season and even challenge for league. And powers that be can claim it's the biggest ever points deduction handed out.
 
Is this not because the incredibly dodgy new massively overleveraged owners are refusing to pay the required 25 percent to the previous creditors to get them out of insolvency?

I feel for the fans, who have definitely suffered enough, but this stinks of another Chansiri already. Poor fuckers.

I get that it's shit, and personally I would hate to pay that fucker Chansiri a single penny, but the rules are the rules and the new lot are as suspect as fuck, imo

But surely that's what the rules are there for - to be 'adhered to'?
If the league decided to 'be lenient' or whatever then surely that would leave them wide open to be accused of treating Sheffield the same as the Premier league are being accused (by some) of treating Man City.
At the least, it would be setting quite a precedent for any other club to latch on to.

I don't see how it can be 'morally wrong' when it's in the rules.
All clubs are 'proper clubs' (with supporters) and should be treated the same.

It's just neverending.

As much as we knew Chansiri was a complete simpleton, it gets more and more alarming at the complete neglect he ran our club at. Even now he's refusing to do the right thing, what with him being the main creditor. I hope karma catches up with him.

I don’t support Sheffield Wednesday but respect the club and their fan base. Thus Proper club comment. I can think of many other clubs I have less time for….

That's as I understand it, the potenial new owners only want to pay 6p on the pound in debt, league rules state it should me at least 25p on the pound
I don't like Ashley but he would have been a much better option
