Shane Warne RIP

I’m sure he was fit as a fiddle.

Was he?....Not a big cricket fans so I hadn't seen him on tv in about 10 years. I have just looked at his twitter, last month suggested he was trying to lose weight, could be possible that he has overdone it?

Such a shame, RIP

Just read the terrible news. At first I thought it was a proof reading error and that they meant the equally horrible loss of Rod Marsh.

I can't believe it. The Aussie we all liked, who could give it and take it when being sledged by the crowd, and could conjure up moments of genius against England that we didn't want to watch but as the same time left in awe to see.

Heartbreaking isn't the word.

52 is no age. I’m not a massive cricket fan but he really was a global superstar of the game when I was growing up

Played in Bristol with Imperial CC. Warne played for them as a 19 year old overseas player. Sadly the club no longer exists, as it was closed down by Imperial Tobacco, who owned the land,

Very sad.Seems to be a lot of middle aged present/former sports men passing away or having issues lately.🤔
