West Indies have absolutely nothing left now. Very much the game.

Aye after they sung his praises after scoring more in the last test than he had in the entire 2017 seriesPair for him was it not
Looked like it was going down leg and very little on impact. Definitely out but very tightWas it?
People consider Ali an all rounder so why notHolder is not a bad option to have coming out at 8
Interesting question - can he genuinely be considered an all-rounder if he bats that low? No doubting his talent but shouldn't he be further up the order?
Suppose so, but Ali tends to bat down there because there are 7 better batsmen ahead of him. I wouldn't necessarily say that about West Indies teamPeople consider Ali an all rounder so why not
If you average 49, and 7 other guys average 50+, it would be his spot in theory. It doesn't take away how good you are, just you from the rest of your team.Holder is not a bad option to have coming out at 8

161 wickets @ 33, in 49 testsDoes his record speak for itself ?
I think Holder is decent, but this is the last proper partnership.West Indies have absolutely nothing left now. Very much the game.
Agreed, I just can't see him playing in sub continent conditions. (New Zealand, South Africa for sure, Australia would depend on what our bowling line up is)Woakes was utterly terrible when he first got into the England side.
Chuffed for him as he's got better and better. Never thought he'd get anywhere near 100 wickets.
Still suspect in certain conditions. But with the bowlers we have we can hopefully be better in rotation.
Why ignore Australia games161 wickets @ 33, in 49 tests

At homeWoakes is a great grafter which helped make up for his lack of natural talent. I initially didn't rate him at all but he's turned into a decent second or third seamer.
Horrific series, never been in good form etc....one team he struggles against. Overall record outside of them is pretty goodWhy ignore Australia games
Better average than Anderson at homeAt home
