Who is the last English batsman that came into the team and looked this good so young? Cook?

Yep, can't think of anyone other than him.

Anyone know what the forecast is like in Leeds tomorrow? If it's cloudy then Anderson and Broad could tear through them.

Looking forward to going down to Headingley tomorrow now.

best of just getting the local train to Headingley station?

You going into Leeds station?

I've forgotten how much the train is to Headingley but if there's a few of you give Amber Cars a ring. It'll be £7-8 at most from Leeds station to Headingley with them.

Full marks to the Kiwis for some smashing pace bowling, especially in the opening session. Fabulous rescue by the Yorkshire boys and some cruel punishment for a knackered attack at the end.

Weather forecast for tomorrow is good but not so hot for Monday.

must say Ian Smith has grown on me the last couple of series.

got the feeling was biased and a bit bland in 1999 but his banter there with Athers was top notch

You couldn't scare a skin off a rice pudding you Atherton

Swanny in the game 81-5

Dreadful decision to bat again, especially as I'm sure it is made purely in an attempt to bail out Compton. What are the implications for the Ashes of both Trott and Bell not getting a significant score against a tired attack?
