Problem is. The club don’t really know how long people have had them. There’s been that many systems, people involved at the club they just lost most of that info. Might have changed since ticket master. I’ve had mine since 97. Doubt the club know that.

You’re probably right mate. I’m sick of saying this, but the club need a proper ticketing policy

People should be getting pin badges, rewards etc imo. Problem has been all the shit thats happened.

Regarding if I’m right, I asked this to someone at the club, who would definitely know.

Had mine since 1961/62 season.Sat with my dad initially,then with my friend. Still sitting with him now. I think the club reset their records upon entering the Sol era or perhaps I am giving them too much credit.

It’s been lost. I would imagine a lot of paper records were chucked. I don’t think it was a priority.

I’m fairly sure that 36500 was what was made available for sale Hank.

That still leaves circa 18k for club Wembley coroporate etc.

36.5k will be our whole allocation. You have to deduct sponsors, players getting about 6 each and all club staff from that.

Club Wembley is nothing to do with any club playing there. It's Wembley corporate solely.

If we get above 33k season tickets then some will miss out.

Not every season ticket holder applies for Wembley. Loads don't bother for different reasons. Can't afford it, getting on a bit, can't be arsed with the hassle of getting down there etc. Certainly for the Charlton Play off match a few years back I reckon only around half the season ticket holders I know travelled for it

We had also been to Wembley about 8 weeks before for the checkatrade. Some definitely won't go but it'll be less than 3k as even people who don't go will give their ticket to somebody else.

I'm still not convinced you're a sunderland fan either.

I doubt there’s more than 10000 who’ve had a season ticket every season since 5he SOL opened.

That would be harsh on folks who have had theirs years but only go to home league games, but would go to a play off/cup final.

It’s one of the reasons why the club need to agree a ticketing policy really. Perhaps do what the mags did and reward SC holders that went to the cup games?
