Season card - No Auto Renew

Does anybody else think the concession provided to the over 65s is way too generous when compared an adult price?
In my area the over 65 cost is more than £250 lower than my ticket!
Well, I'm 60, had a season ticket coming up to 40years. Somebody 65 can come along, their first season and get it for £169 cheaper than me. My mate and his grandson(over 65 and under 18) sit either side of me. I did their tickets yesterday, both of theirs together are £110 cheaper than mine. I don't begrudge it, because we need to look after our older supporters and encourage the young, but the loyalty discount is a good gesture, but pitiful really.
 

im in P7 and im getting error message you dont have any subscription to renew. Anyone else managed to renew in p7 yet
Same here, I messaged the club on Tuesday but haven’t heard anything. Think I’ll try and get the the ticket office tomorrow 🫩

How long have you been a ST holder though? That £615 was for a GLORY supporter as many have been overcharged. The £570 is for the 2023'ers and it was £550 for the UBERs
Had a part season ticket last year but been a continuous season ticket holder since 2014 and had one since Roker Park before that.

I’ve checked my account and it has no record of me having a season ticket prior to last season for some reason so wonder if that’s why I haven’t got the full discount

My payment plan means that the payment will be taken, when the direct debit payments would, from my card, rather than from my account. The same really and that's fine.

Think we at cross wires. I cant even renew. Seems everyone in p7 is having same problem.
 
We did yes, half expecting them to not have any records so taking down plenty of evidence with me!
I will be heading over there next week due to work. I have noticed on my account that it shows Season card BCB cancelled. So im thinking that might be the issue as site will see card cancelled hence nothing to renew even though we moved to P7

Ideally it would be cheaper for those on low income but means testing is difficult to handle correctly and open to abuse. By the same token, rich pensioners should get no discount at all IMO....

Its letting ME renew both and I set up the DD for the full amount (2 tickets). However my MIL wants to simply pay for her own like she has always done.
So on that basis I assume I am the "controller" who adds in the emails of other family and friends.
Just one of the many mysteries of our ticketing system, unfortunately for you. Probably needs (shudder) a visit to the ticket office to sort it out. Or try the help email first and give it a couple of days before venturing in.
Sorry if this has been asked - can I renew other tickets that I manage for people but who have their own current Direct Debits?
If you're connected on the system they should be visible to you to do that, yes. There are no current DDs on the system so that makes no difference, in theory.

You would think that would be an easy fix for the club to sort behind the scenes. Seems a bit mad that everyone in that block will need to renew in person!

People i sit near are all havung same problem. The reply they got was we have refreshed our end. Try again but still doesnt work
 
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY MENTAL!!!!!

So,

Managed to get through to the ticket office.

Apparently the reason why my son and I have not been given the loyalty discount on our season tickets is because club have no record of us having any purchase history for the 24/25 season. Nothing, absolutely nothing on their files.

So, muggins here has to dig into my emails (and thankfully the archive in my Google wallet) and send them over EVIDENCE to PROVE to them that we had season tickets, in the exact same seats we sit in to this very day!!

Who the f%%k runs our ticketing operations and why are they ALWAYS such an absolute F-ING shambles??????

Ahhh, so im not the only one. So its looks like groups of us have had our season tickets from last season wiped from their records??

I've pre-empted what they are going to say after digging myself and already sent all the info. Still not had any reply to my initial AskSAFC ticket raised on Monday.

Honestly don't know if the people running the club realise how the ticketing operation is still being run. It's amateurish at best with some of the things that is happening to supporters and things we are being asked to do (they actually make it hard to give them money at times).

No, no reply yet. I decided to call after no reply since Monday. No I guess it'll be another 5 days. But at least i have a ticket number now, to which I can state when I call them back tomorrow.
 
Got on and tried to set up direct debit but it won’t let me press the ‘next’ button to complete it so had to cancel and then it says there has been an error and try again. Still isnt working
