Season card - No Auto Renew

Anyone that has questions over the cost it’s worthwhile getting in touch with the club.

They’ve responded to my lovely email and lowered the cost from £615 to £571
To late to edit my last post as I forgot to point out to those reading the post, the club haven't dropped the price to keep him happy just because he's queried the cost. They've simply reduced it as they've corrected their own mistake.

i think the bespoke pricing is a good idea and rewards those who stuck with it but i don't think they particularly wanted to openly advertise the price differences to avoid people complaining on fairness etc. and now they're going to have to anyway because they've ballsed it up
There’s no harm in being completely transparent as there’s a weighting list. I think what they’ve done is perfectly acceptable but the lack of clarity is just creating more work for them. As it stands I think my prices are wrong and I’m querying it.

As they move to the new system it’s even more reason to be transparent so they can gauge if their new partner has it right but I honestly think it’s more about the quality of their records.

How do you get hold of a price structure for the upcoming season?(including concessionary prices) .Its not on the website!Ive renewed at the price suggested but because of the above ....how do i tell if its correct?
thats the problem...there isnt one
For some strange reason the club haven’t released one. If they had 95% of this thread wouldn’t exist, it’s a very odd decision by the club.
I agree it is strange and probably they have made it too complicated for a simple table. However that is no reason to keep it secret.

for info, I went down yesterday. about a 20 minute wait in the queue.

over 66, holder for years, £391.50
under 14 holder for years £126
both L17

I understand that they might have worried that it would be too difficult to list prices for areas and then at different tiers. But if they'd done the usual EB prices in each category based on those who have only bought from June 25 then announced a tiered percentage saving based on length of "service", most of us could have worked out our own prices and helped those that couldn't.
It's actually not that complicated a task to create the pricing tables for the 3 loyalty tiers. We usually see 1 table anyway and this time it simply just 3 tables as shown below as it's simple to create once I've seen prices mentioned (grey haven't been mentioned so are just estimates that may well be £5 either way). It's not that hard to follow either given the 3 tiers are just 3 different periods.

I should really have started a thread so this was in the 1st post as even now people are still unsure what they've paid is correct but here's what it could have looked like.

As for the increases, most ubers I've seen are happy with the rise. Aye it's around 15-20% but if you look at it as £'s such in the yellow price band for example, it's £28.95 (£4.74 more) a game for adults, £20 (£2.89) for Over 65s, £13.68 (£2.37) for U22, £8.68 (£1.89) for U18 and £5.00 (0.79) for U14.

Why the club decided not to simply do something like above is baffling as it's created way more crap and confusion than those who may have said owt about price rises. For Premier League football, more so when compared to other PL teams prices, these are still great prices especially for the younger generation 21 years or younger. Bearing in mind if we'd been in the PL since 2016/17 chances are it would be a lot higher now anyway so it's only natural to expect the club to catch up a little but only as long as it doesn't continue at the same rate season upon season.

can I suggest that you do consult with a mod and get the new post labelled a sticky.
there is also some sort of admin fee added, even if you go down to the ticket office in person

Aye it's £1.50 on every ST but keeping it as a £5 increment is what the club do, probably as it's simpler to follow the numbers.

As for the thread I'm not sure if it's worthy now as the initial rush has died down and there's a few ST card threads on the go. Though some may be completely unaware they've paid more? It seems that those who have been overcharged and contacted the club, some have had to prove themselves they're due the loyalty discount. So will those that have been overcharged unknowingly be contacted given it seems the club can't check automatically at the time of contact such as Marco Goalo below?

If anyone is in the same boat as myself & not showing the loyalty prices, I rang the ticket office today & they can see I've had season tkts with my boys starting in 2019, but no history of having a season ticket (2024/25) last season (which I did!! SEC)

I renewed in the NWU for the 2024/25 season but requested a move to the SEC. But for whatever reason, my history for last season is not showing!

I've had to find all emails from SAFC confirming my seat switch & confirmation of payments, screen shot them & send through the HELP ASK-SAFC. Madness that last seasons details are not showing at all.

Still none the wiser when the correct prices will be applied.

@RTGAdmin what do you think? Should I start a thread called something like "Check your season ticket renewal price is correct?" and hoy the table up and it gets pinned for a short while so all those who've renewed can check?

Are people's direct debit schedule, showing up on their safc account straight away? I bought my mates and grandsons yesterday and haven't had anything yet. Just the total bill in the confirmation.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY MENTAL!!!!!

So,

Managed to get through to the ticket office.

Apparently the reason why my son and I have not been given the loyalty discount on our season tickets is because club have no record of us having any purchase history for the 24/25 season. Nothing, absolutely nothing on their files.

So, muggins here has to dig into my emails (and thankfully the archive in my Google wallet) and send them over EVIDENCE to PROVE to them that we had season tickets, in the exact same seats we sit in to this very day!!

Who the f%%k runs our ticketing operations and why are they ALWAYS such an absolute F-ING shambles??????
Yeah I noticed someone earlier said they had to show there old season pass from phone wallet, this is something I don't have.
Same as you say though we have loyalty points going back to Bristol City which was sthe first away back in the Championship so hopefully that should be enough proof we had season tickets then.

I think I've figured out why I haven't got the full loyalty allocation.
I've just been onto my ticketing page and when you select the History section you can filter by season tickets. When I've done that it's showing as though myself and the kids didn't have a season ticket for last season for some reason (all the other seasons are showing).
So hopefully that should be a fairly easy one to prove.
Ahhh, so im not the only one. So its looks like groups of us have had our season tickets from last season wiped from their records??

I've had exactly the same mate. No history of myself and 2 boys having season tkts in 2024/25 - so we are currently showing as the highest cost of tkts for our area to renew.

I've had to forward emails to show evidence. Absolute madness.

Some advise please.

Trying to renew both mine and the mother in law's
We have both been paying by DD separately for many years.
When I log in it lets me renew both tickets .......BUT
what we want to do is let my MIL renew and pay her own DD and me renew and pay my own.
However, when she goes into her account it wont let he renew hers as it says already in use and have to visit ticket office - its says this as well when she even tries to renew both on her account.
I am the lead on the family and friends (which is why I think this is happening) but we should still be able to have 2 separate DD's.
I could renew on her behalf (its letting ME do this) but she would then have to pay me for her ticket either by instalments or in a one of payment.
She wants to just do her own DD like she has done for years.

Is there a work around or do we have to goto the ticket office.

The cynic inside of me suggests its frustrating me on purpose so I just pay up front and they "bank" all my cash upfront !

cheers in advance.

Could it be something to do with your relationship (on the system  ). I could select/deselect all of our group's renewals and choose which ones to pay for when I did ours, and we are all connected under a Strong relationship. Don't know if that makes a difference but just a thought. I'm not aware of there being a 'lead' on the family and friends as you suggest.

thanks for your response
Its letting ME renew both and I set up the DD for the full amount (2 tickets). However my MIL wants to simply pay for her own like she has always done.
So on that basis I assume I am the "controller" who adds in the emails of other family and friends.

Sorry if this has been asked - can I renew other tickets that I manage for people but who have their own current Direct Debits?

Does anybody else think the concession provided to the over 65s is way too generous when compared an adult price?
In my area the over 65 cost is more than £250 lower than my ticket!
