Seahouses is more rough and ready and Bamburgh posher. I prefer Seahouses tbh
Bamburgh Castle pub in Seahouses has eye watering prices but more likely to get seated at the weekend. The Ship is much better for ale if you're in to that. That Black Swan? is a bit of a bistro place now.
I can't recall the pubs in bamburgh. Rarely went as it's a pain to get back to Seahouses in the dark.

The Ship at Seahouses is a must visit. It's probably the only proper pub left in both villages. I quite like the Vic at Bamburgh for a drink as well.
