Scott Parker Gone

I don't think Parker is particularly good, but if they had stayed up, he would have massively over performed. That squad is comfortably one of the worst 3 in the league for me, maybe even the worst. I'm not sure they come back up next year.

He is a good championship manager to get teams promoted but a poor premier league manager as gets them relegated, hopefully next mags manager when their fans drive Howe out of their club

It’s not really that strange is it? He’s clearly just got a ceiling.

Similarly Mick McCarthy and lots of others - Dyche included imo, solid football league managers, and there’s nothing wrong with that. EPL is only for elite coaches now. Only the fittest survive!
Possibly true.

If we hadn't have spent 150 million this summer then Reggie's ceiling would probably be same as Mick Macs / Parkers etc

His championship sides play the margins and barely score any goals. Then when they get promoted they’re obviously not good enough. For the Burnley fans sanity I hope they get someone who likes progressive football in.

They had Kompany and that didn't work either.

They're just not cut out for this league.

Barely score goals maybe with Burnley at Fulham he had mitrovic scoring about 40 by himself
