First bird I ever stuffed (taxidermy) as a kid was a magpie.Interesting. Seems a bit odd. But I do know loads of people who do a daft 'salute' ritual. I quite like the way they look tbh, and the fact they bizarrely like 'shiny' things, I find quite endearing.
