95% of games are in the USA and a small few in Canada and Mexico. Fwiw think Canada would have been great as solo hosts and fit the profile perfectly of a country where football is on the upDon’t think so just it’s Mexico, USA and Canada, my mate who comes on holiday can’t get in to the USA cos he was a naughty boy many years ago

Yep. Blood money talks, especially with FIFA in charge. Nothing will ever change. Money for votes, money for bribes, money to lay the pockets of those that really don't need the money, just the prestige of being associated with those eating and drinking at the top table. I served in the Middle East twice, these top guys who preach alcohol is the demon like a little tipple. Met a few of them in Dubai about 10 years ago, staying at my cousins place right on the main golf course. Kept their robes on but fuck me they can sup and don't stop

Not sure how they'd cope with 48 teams, given there are about four cities, at least one of which (Mecca) is closed to non-Muslims. Not sure if Medina is the same. Giving it to Saudi could be the thing that breaks FIFA, given that in human rights terms, it's Qatar on steroids.
