Surely he can't be expected to do all that until such time as it is exposed as a sham, if that time ever comes. As things stand Barnes said it was under NDA, we may hear more at the end of the month/start of the season.
To me. That still stands. The man is guilty of nothing at this moment in time

Of course he should if he has been played...Was it not Methven who also stated to him and others that the sale would be concluded by the end of May of this year? Will the same ongoing story be doing the rounds in October, i wonder. Barnes has not once asked a deep seriously meaningful question of either Donald or Methven or taken them to task because he values his position with the club.

I feel he’s been utterly stitched up here. Not entirely his fault but he’d have been better off keeping quiet about it. I believe Donald or his bag man is behind this. Despicable behaviour.

He obviously didn't pursue it be cause he knew already it was fabricated.

I don’t disagree with that, of course he has been duped but are we not guilty of getting carried away with things because we are desperate to believe any good news? As with so called ITK’s you either believe what they are saying or take it with a pinch of salt. Bottom line is he is no different to any other journalist/commentator . Pick up any newspaper and you will see for yourself, they are all desperate to be first with a scoop. Sadly it looks like, as you say, he has got egg on his face

This "Takeoever" , and I believe there is a change of ownership going on , from my experience is going the way most do. A bit of news at the beginning then silence until its completed. That usually takes months from both parties involved. it will be done when its done but Barnes was reckless in spouting this out because he thought he has a scoop over other journalists. If it turns out there is no takeover ,its what I posted prior.
 
To me the silence speaks volumes on any takeover. If potential buyers are under NDA and Story is spouting shit on twatter about his bid and all that shit means to me he is just full of shit.
 
On a serious note, what on earth could Storey stand to gain from being made to look an absolute tit in front of the world? He's already got very questionable business acumen and by all accounts, and judging by his tweets, a very questionable outlook / state of mind. Surely, if we have a takeover go through that doesn't involve Storey, the rest of the world know to basically ignore him when he starts to spout rubbish online. What does any of this do for him?
People saying the exposure of his product etc, but he's got less than 10,000 twitter followers, and his company has only 21,000 followers. People haven't flocked to follow him or to buy his product.

It’s all about publicity for Storey.
 
At least he's the right age. Can't even believe we are considering a 35yr old striker..ffs have we learned nowt? Get Semenyo back! Where's he now?
