And less single use plastic to go in the bin.Never understood why the bars don’t sell bottled beer/cans only, quicker, more choice etc.
Presumably it is cheaper to buy piss water to sell to the masses.

You are kind to say it's tired, drove past the other day and it is an eyesore compared to what it once was. I believe it is being used as some sort of half way house for any waif and strayWorse. I stayed there for the Boxing Day game against Bradford. It feels very tired and in need of some tlc.

Know nowt about pumps or the pub trade but is it still possible to water beer down?
Obviously not suggesting the con man would do such a thing ofcourse.
.THAT above............. is the best route to take. Give these ****s not one penny more.Just don't give any money to the incumbent owners. You can't force them out, all you can do is make a decision for yourself.
I can't help feeling that all of the social media posturing and protest is just oxygen to the current regime. Withholding your patronage and radio silence will see an end to them.
Well that's what I was trying to get at, impossible to have an NDA if you cherry pick things you want to say. Can't be in breach of something that doesn't exist.
Just to add a bit of first hand experience in buying and selling businesses, I agreed Heads of Terms to buy a business back in March - way advanced of a period of exclusivity. Much smaller and simpler deal than SAFC. Six months later we are still passing paperwork backwards and forwards between lawyers.
I sold a business in 2013 that took almost a year to complete after entering exclusivity with a buyer.
These things can take ages.

They've stitched him up good and proper, deflecting all flak until the season starts. Takeover was a fantasy.Nick Barnes is going to regret ever making that statement
Owt been happening over the last week regarding the takeover rumour?
I'm looking forward to the football starting back up and putting this on the back burner in case it doesnt come off.
Glad you got it over the line, I'm dreading the day I have to hold on for months on end wondering, getting to the point where you are comfortable that you're letting go, and then having it potentially whipped away. Hopefully it wasn't that bad!
I remember a very prominent local entrepreneur wanted to invest in us shortly after he sold his company in 2017/18. I asked him about the selling process and he was traumatised by the whole process. He'd had 3 potential buyers come in, get 80-90% of the way through and bail when he thought it was all done. Eventually after about 18 months he sold the business and it looked like a weight off his shoulders.
I think a football club is a bit different to your average business in some respects, because the principle buyer is generally so enamoured and involved with the purchase that it's almost an emotional decision? But equally, I guess to back up what you're saying, it is bloody hard work selling even profitable, stable businesses, let alone volatile, risky ones like football clubs.
Impeccable implies one of a small handful of peopleMaybe not. You'd assume it's someone from the club though so the theory would still stand.
this all day long. There's obviously been some sort of negotiations recently. As to the conclusion, nobody knows yet. Got to keep our fingers crossed Donald gives it up for a fair price.
So nowt is happening, what has happened to the ITK’s who have told us share structures and who is involved and when the actual meetings are. Have they all crawled away again?
Turning the taps on one day fortnight doesn't help mindI do wonder why the product is so shit mind. I know many hate all lagers but I normally quite like Coors in a pub. Can't imagine they give them normal kegs and we get given some out of date stuff meant for the bin. Presumably it's something to do with how we store it or the lines or something. He could at least try and sort that out, might make people a bit more prepared to arrive early if the beer wasn't shit as well as expensive
The lad off 606 who you are talking about was on again today saying nothing has changed and he is still sticking with what he has been told
