I don’t believe for one second that SD would jeopardise a multi million pound deal over some petty grievance. Also as has been said MG simply withdraws and comes back after the deal is done.

I think Donald is desperate to sell. Perhaps the only viable offer came from the MG group so he held his nose and entered into talks. Since then Wild Bill rocks up with a rival offer that Donald views as more attractive. Complete speculation of course, and we need to remember the journalist who broke the story said don't expect to hear anything before the end of August.
