I honestly believe he wants to run the club on the lowest budget possible till he somehow gets lucky with promotion.
He will then flip it at the earliest opportunity for a profit in a higher league.

Hes been there for a while already I would guess. He will of course be lapping up our frustration/annoyance with everything going on at the minute. Already said this based on someone who classes him as a 'friend' and 'nice guy'. Im sure he is both to the individual concerned, as what SD does has no impact on him personally (or professionally). They (Methven/SD/Satori) saw Sunderland as a quick flip opportunity like buying a house that had just been repossessed. Except the buildings foundations have come undone and he wont get what he/they paid or want for it
