Yep that's what Ii tried to tell Grumpy.A massive coincidence that two of the clubs hierarchy and a potential suitor for the club all managed to have photos taken in and around the City yesterday. In particular, two images showing the CEO of the Club and Mr Storey in the same location at the same time? Too much of a coincidence for me.
The odds and probability of these three being in the the same place at the same time. Grumps will tells us..Hes the numbers go to man for me.Yep that's what Ii tried to tell Grumpy.
I was reetUnfortunately there's some f***ing knackers on here who are geet excited because some scruffy looking barmy tramp is parading around wearing a Sunderland top and says he has 4 wealthy backers behind him.
More easily done with a phone call rather than get involved in it. Rodwell could have easily steered clear of him - David Jones posted a picture of Roker in the morning too but was back in London last night. It’s clear something has been going on yesterday and it’s not only a bit of publicity seeking by Storey.
If he is doing it for publicity, what does he gain from the publicity? He seemingly doesn’t have a product to sell.
No man they are excited because a post higher up said he was up here to tickle our balls.Unfortunately there's some f***ing knackers on here who are geet excited because some scruffy looking barmy tramp is parading around wearing a Sunderland top and says he has 4 wealthy backers behind him.
Thank you. Exactly this. I'll add to this about the Covid thing. For a person hustling his way through life the slowdown of business and market caution is hid biggest threat. I'd say his Covid denial is fear of losing his hustle power and he hasn't got the resilience to take a hit and lose momentum. So this presents a perfect opportunity. Fair play to the guy - he has some balls - but i hope he takes his 4 backers and takes over the mags. This is exactly why it does add up to me.
These types of grifter rely on publicity as oxygen. They don't have a product to sell or an immediate end goal, but publicity gives them relevance and potential future opportunities to relieve wealthy people of their money.
Think about it, when someone googles William Storey now,You must be logged on to see external links. Page after page of chat about how he's trying to buy a football club, how he has wealthy contacts, a company that is valued at £100m. Of course there is bad stuff in there, but think about what that Google search looked like before 2 weeks ago. Just a handful of articles breaking down his con artistry.
He is using us to muddy the waters about himself because if he needs investment or a free ride, or an opportunity in future, he will now be harder to pin down, and some of the things he's said on the radio on twitter will become repeated often enough that someone, somewhere, may give them enough credence for him to enact a very big scam.
I don't think he has the backers to do this, I think he's making a song and dance of it in the hope that one day he can portray the bid as having been legit but that Donald wanted to sell (inexplicably) to someone with less money and less credible backers.
I know what a bullshit artist looks like and I'd stake a lot of cash on this man being one.
Wee have already signed 2 playersDid he not also say that Sartori was not the party in the exclusivity agreement with Donald. I think its becoming clearer that Donald will use period as an excuse not to buy or sign players before the transfer deadline blaming the potential buyer for it going tit up.
Seeing as Storey has still yet to provide any evidence of the stuff he's claiming to the people who need to see it, the 'meeting' yesterday wasn't anything to do with him closing a deal or making any serious moves forward.
I sometimes think this way, then wonder why if this was the case, Mickey Gray would have piped up somewhere along the line. There just has to be a legal reason why he hasn't been spouting off. I am hoping desperately I am rightGot to be a publicity stunt that Donald is part of to take the heat/pressure off him until the season starts then he still owns the club and has another go at promotion and the profit he wants!

Trip down to the seaside for Willy this morning. Just a sunderland top on his back and a can of rich energy in his hand, with the sea air whistling through that fine viking beard of his. Go on Willy lad.
Apart from that it's neewhere near 'Roker Park'.....................And a photographer
Yes, I get the impression that Gray is involved because he has been silent throughout. Although Gray has been critical of Donald an Co. in the past and that may be why some are saying that Donald isn't keen on a deal with an individual in this group. That’s probably me getting 5 from 2 +2.I sometimes think this way, then wonder why if this was the case, Mickey Gray would have piped up somewhere along the line. It's like a ponzi scheme. As long as he can convince people he's legit, he can make money and hope to somehow come up with a way of going straight.

Why hasn't Donald come out and said as much? He surely wouldn't give him access to club data if it was obviously the case he was a con man.
