Hypothetically, perhaps all SD cares about is keeping shares to cash in when get back to big time. He probably messed up the Dell deal for this reason. And I expect will blow out the best bidder to keep his share.

i’ve suspected all along thats why other deals have failed, all about the money & future returns

This all stinks, if there really are two bids, then the 'period of exclusivity' chat means only one of them are in serious play, which by the looks of things means Storey and his gang of unknown backers.

And their 'takeover' that still leaves Madrox in majority control, provided they remain aligned? If that's the case, why? What's in it for Storey to be a minority owner without complete control?

Can only hope he's better than Donald in some way, but this has car crash written all over it. I also doubt (based on how he handled the Haas situation) that Storey would ultimately give even 1% fuck about us if it comes to the crunch.

Not sure why we can't have a nice, normal owner :D

I’m not sure any new owner could do any worse if I’m honest (unless we find ourselves in another Wigan situation). Regrettably I have to say that I cannot see us challenging for a top 6 slot unless this ‘strong squad’ we have, overnight have become world beaters.

you’d think he’d have a NDA in place in that case, but he’s never stopped talking for the past few weeks. Whereas the other group is silent. Who knows, sure we’ll see soon enough

Amazing how his bootlickers on here overlook the fact that he had tried to sell the club twice before that statement came out.

And when you pull them up on it they drop their arses and ignore the question, simply because they know they’re talking complete and utter horseshit

I said it earlier, in 2016 a lot of floating voters in the USA said "Trump can't be any worse - let's give him a shot..."

Take care.

My take on it is (presuming the 2 or 3 parties rumour is true) is that one is under NDA in a period of exclusivity but it's not Storey hence why he's communicating.

He is however trying to drum up fan support in the hope we force SD to sell to him.

So he is in the race by virtue of his declaration that he wants to buy, not necessarily the quality of his bid, probably running in 3rd place but hoping he will win the race should the other 2 fall at final hurdle.

I'm choosing to believe this as it makes me feel better.

No one involved in a serious takeover bid would permit the selling party to retain any company shares unless they did not have the capital to buy. it would create serious problems further down the line for a successful bidder should anything go wrong or unforeseen problems appear. No, not a credible sale and appears to be ,if it is Donald's stance to retain shares as part of a deal , why FPP stepped back last summer...
