Typical Storey. Banged on and on and on throughout social media to get this opportunity. Got people listening in. Was explosive as possible with consistent soundbites, trying to marry up to Safc fans with digs at financial suits (which he has always been surrounded with/likes the image of) mags etc. No actual detail, nearly caught himself up with the Marco comment (whilst he is actually in the sudio). Identification of 5 players with no clue about salary cap. Taking the piss out of actual successful billionaire groups.

Still stick to my initial information. The other group is in box seat. He won't be getting it. It's all bluster and to try and raise his own profile.
Can only hope you are right mate. He is not to be trusted or believed imo

I simply don’t believe him is the honest truth. His interview about getting the premier league players to the papers for a start. His company is basically a logo, his failed stint in F1 and his views on Covid on his social media is just not what I’d like as the owner of our club.
I don't think he'll have the backer BUT if he does and if they sound decent then I would say give him a go.

Sounds like hes not being taken seriously be the club at all. The fact he said the group in negotiations only care about money and have charges against the club was a bit of a giveaway for me. I think he has said something he shouldn't have done under his NDA.

Last time I heard, they were not and he was told to go away. He hasn't. Still being explosive as possible.

He came over well to me
Pridey was pulling no punches either....

The only way he could be a bullshitter is if he doesn't really have the backers/finance. If that's the case he won't be able to buy the club anyway so who cares? I'll enjoy it while it's happening.

From what little I know, Short would have no interest in coming back. He knows he messed up, knows he lost a lot of money and wouldn't be any more confident about getting it right this time.
If, as one of the backers, Ellis gets a stake in the club for say £10 million, he's then got a chance of getting a chunk of his previous loss back, whilst only taking a "shared risk" on the purchase.

More than likely not, but I wouldn't entirely rule it out.
