Should have left you on your own thread,we would have checked you now and again to make sure you hadnt done anything daft

4 pages in 4 hours, that's going viral in today's difficult times Stevo.

I am however comforted in that fact that you are looking out for me.

Its all them negatives types though mate, waste of time. 🤞

The poster had a couple of points in which he formed an opinion with and posted it with the purpose of discussion though, that's what this place is for right?

And surely i am allowed to ask why he thinks it?

Without splitting hairs Julio, you asked how he knew, he had already provided points that made his opinion.

I think my wider point is this board appears to be polarised to the point of no one can just have an opinion without it having to be a dig and it's saddening.

I'll shut up now.

I do not care one jot about the badge........

Can you imagine buying SAFC for millions and deciding that the badge needs changing !!

Jesus Christ. That's who we need....

Or alternatively it could be businessmen buying an asset at its lowest value to sell on when its value rises

It could but in truth what are we talking about here, even a five fold increase to say £200m?
If it’s just a financial opportunity they’re interested in then is that really going to set their collective pulses racing given it will be split at least three ways?
It’s a lot of money to most people on the planet but may not be to these lads.
Hope they’re in it for the long haul.
Time will tell.

I think it would make sense. The current badge isn't wildly popular and tbh is by now associated with failure. It came when we moved into a new era at the Sol, makes sense they might want another change for this new era rather than keeping it for a while then maybe changing it later. It's often said that more simple badges are better financially anyway so it also makes sense in that regard. A whole new "branding" to go along with other changes they'll bring to the club, it's not an unreasonable claim imo
Whereas the "ship" badge is associated with rampant success?
