We need to spend as much as possible making our set up the envy of world football. Ignore geography, ignore status. If you want to become a pro footballer and reach the peak of the game come to safc should be our
I like this thread but I haven’t got a clue what their intentions are. The phrase “ Long Term” has been bandied about and investment in the area has been mooted, so maybe we will get to the promised land but not as quickly as some think. The combined wealth of these four individuals dwarfs the Man City arab owner.I dont think they are here to mess around and be also rans. They certainly dont need the publicity.Bright times ahead I hope.
The quickest way to become a millionaire in football ownership? To be serious. If anyone thinks 4 multi billionaires one of whom is the 20th richest man in the world are going to piss about watching f***ing Rochdale every year they need their heads checked
They will do as much as it takes to get to the Premiership cash cow asap imo
They put plenty of money into the Miami Marlins who have shown no desire to field a competitive team but will still make plenty of money no matter how shit the results. It's all about money for these guys. Luckily, football is different than the franchised American sports and the only way for them to make something on their investment is to get us up to the PL. I just hope these guys understand that going in.
They'll be looking to increase the turnover for FFP, I can see naming rights to the stadium being sold as well as possibly extendingThey wont need to drop billions to get us where we would all love to be
A stable mid table Premiership side who gives the cups a go
Computer says NO.To asset strip us and get us into the Northern league asap
Exactly!! Also when and if we ever win anything I want the open top bus parade to go past the Strawberry down Northumberland Street and into Eldon Square!!!To be serious. If anyone thinks 4 multi billionaires one of whom is the 20th richest man in the world are going to piss about watching f***ing Rochdale every year they need their heads checked

Neither side has a firm deadline so it seems, so no incentive to make any concession on the sticking points.... Hence it drags on.Correct - we remain on the verge of incredible investment and many remain in a state of shitting themselves mainly due to a lack of understanding of normal business investment process
Effectively we need to buy in a team from a side who are properly run.
We need to avoid creating a "model", and use any potential brass to buy a proven one.

start off as a billionaire.
I was reading about this. They seemed to put 175m dollars in as part of some other blokes 1.2b investment as a loan at 14pc interest. Knowing that they wouldn't be able to pay it back that was then turned into shares so effectively bought a chunk of the club cheaply. It didn't say what their intentions were, other than buying some equity on the cheap.Did they put a lot into them, I was under the impression that they purely bought a piece to reap the dividends?
FWIW I think it will come off, and if they stick to what they have allegedly said using the word “legacy” I would hope they see us as a long term project and not being fly by nights. Fingers crossed it will happen and then when they release a statement we will know exactly the long term plans. What do you think the plan will be if and when the takeover is announced?
Obviously, they have got a lot of money but what do you think they intend to do with our club?
A new Man City where billions are invested in playing staff, managerial staff, youth and infrastructure?
A new Red Bull that realise to become exceptional on the pitch, you must first hire exceptional staff?
Aggressive investment to get us to the premier league and then hang on in there?
More of the same?
