like I say, the echo say there are takeover talks ongoing aswell yet they know very little imho.

has he said anything that has been right? That hasn’t been in the echo?

All I'm saying is SD should have calmed us all down weeks ago. He could have tweeted exactly what he's told us tonight and saved three weeks of speculation.

I am sorry but that is not deliberate misinformation. The deal can be signed subject to due diligence being completed, but until the signatures are on the forms transferring money / shares then it is acceptable to monitor / talk to other potential buyers. Completely normal business practise.

If the quotes are accurate it's not 'bedwetting' (a silly characterisation anyway), and neither is it 'playing it down', but rather saying that there are several groups looking to take us over, but none has signed a deal.

That is a long way from what many would have us believe.
 
It doesn't look good I'll admit but that doesn't mean that it's not happening. I think it's massively difficult for a lot of fans because of the way it was built up. Exaggerated and over the top doesn't quite cut it. But hey ho, well just have to wait and see.
