Don't mean to be critical of you as I don't think you're being cynical like some who take this view would....but....i think it's great example of how much our support has taken them for granted.

They have done way more for the club than any body tasked with the administration scenario would. They've made a real effort to connect fans with the club and build.a community. They've improved the matches experience massively. Even as an overseas fan I know they care about me because they provide streams whereas the last twat who owned us couldn't be bothered.

I can't believe how lightly Short gets off in comparison to these two and have no idea why it happens.
How quickly people forget how much of a mess Ellis created and walked away.
People were chuffed when they arrived.
If they manage to pass us into a new investor and make a few quid, so be it.

I can picture it now, takeover announcement and a statement from SD...

"Its been a difficult period. The uncertainty around the takeover has most definitely been unsettling to everyone at the club, including the players and management team. However now that it is concluded Jack and the players can get back to our primary focus achieving promotion this season. We would once again like to convey our thanks to Jack for managing the situation extremely well during this period and he continues to have our full support going forward"
Imagine if they just copied and pasted your post as well

“Say something like......”

Actually in all seriousness if the fans continue to turn en masse as they’re currently doing then it’ll reflect very badly on Donald if he does try to keep Ross on.

Northern Echo sticking their neck out in today’s paper. The Black Cats hope to complete the takeover deal within the next couple of weeks.
Not really, the article is on about Jack Ross and in it it says the takeover should go through in the next few weeks. Nothing really added at all, not an update really, just a passing comment

I’m hoping that’s because like seemingly everyone else they haven’t the faintest idea what’s going on or when it will be announced.

Well...Reivers bet terms and conditions expired at midnight last night so lets hope thats a way of saying there something afoot today

I'm assuming because of whatever stage this is at, no decisions can made.

That’s my take on it. Donald has sacked managers before and witnessed at first hand not only the performance at Bolton but the crowd really turning against Ross.

If we weren’t in the throes of a takeover I think Ross would already have been sacked.
