I have no issue with this view. I merely pointed out the Coventry result against kids was worse than ours. Some people have a problem that ours isn't the worst result against Bolton this season. And Coventry are also out performing our team at the moment, but still managed a worse result which shows how low the standard is in all of the teams in L1In essence, it goes to prove that given the right coaching and attitude, you can deliver more in a couple of weeks , than what Ross has done in well over a year. Hill has organised a club which were a shambles, no money to spend, saved on the last day, with a rag tag, thrown together team, who know exactly what their role is and will fight to the last man. I realise this isn’t your argument but it seemed appropriate
No he didn't
SAFC Takeover Latest
Newco FPP Sunderland could own 75% of the club, with the remaining 25% owned by the current owners. @Grumpy Old Man ,is this the case? Is there any further info of Dell's involvement?www.readytogo.net
I see the the positive side of having owners with a great drive to do well for the club and themselves but if they havent a pot to piss in and have an ethos of finding the cheapest player, manager ,coach hotel, bus ect that will do is not conducive to success in the long run...... if these new oners (bugger i hope it goes through) change the club by improving the academy, actually having a scouting network, and change the ethos by targeting players for positions and deciding what we can afford and actually going for these players .and this approach wont take a lot of money in my book.........just a plan with some money to back it up!Agreed... People need to be pragmatic
So has he paid up?I don't think Reiver's had any confirmation of that.
I don't think Reiver's had any confirmation of that.
Reiver would like it to be known that his offer of a £1,000 charity bet remains open, but only until midnight tonight. No bets after that time.
I doubt if Reivers had any confirmation of anything to date, no doubt he knows somebody a couple of times removed from this Fuhrman gadgy, but it doesn't mean he's got a direct link to the latest news, I think its wearing a bit thin this ITK thing now. Reiver is a good poster, and I enjoy his edge on some threads, but law of averages says if you hoy enough darts ( or dates in this case) you'll hit the bullseye eventually. This takeover will happen one day, and somebody on this board will have forecast it correctly, but it'll still have been an educated guess.

I think Grumpy Old Man implied that it would be an offence to register a "spoof" company on Companies House website.if it only costs 30 quid why doesnt someone on here withe better IT skills than mine...log in and see if they can set up a dummmy company based at ""Sid James Park" company "gravy stain aquisitions" ?I wouldnt put it past a mag to do a wind up ,but i doubt it in this case!
Aye showed plenty of disgruntled fans tbhJust a question pancho ..As i could not bring myself to watch the STID netflix series.... did they show any of the shall we say "more aggressive supporters" views towards the manager, team and owners of the time....Ive heard they showed the sadness and losss within the support and the loyalty ,but did we see anny of the numpties we get on here?Im just asking asking as if they expecting a tad restless support and find out we have significant number of Tad Bundy's within the fanship. In the end though I think the fans are just a tick on the balance sheet and any deal will always come down to money!

Going to the match helped the leak as did the owner talking about investment within a couple of monthsIt seems to me the takeover leaked out earlier than anyone involved wanted which has lead to some people panicking as it appears to be dragging on.
Where as realistically you don't buy a football club in a few days, it all takes time and it's only been 4? Weeks since the story broke?
Im confident it will happen soon and I'm hopefully they will come in with a bang and things will start to change quickly for the better
Does anyone still think this isn’t happening?
I think it's happening but I wouldn't be surprised or shocked if it were called off - I'm used to cock-ups and disappointments with SAFC.Does anyone still think this isn’t happening?
