It'll go through but if people are really thinking we're going to shit money... I believe they're gonna be disappointed

Not man City-esque I'm sure, but they aren't buying us to have a sustainable league one club. Sustainability will eventually be the aim, but the only way they can make money is to own a sustainable PL club, the leagues below don't have anything like the money to attract people like these. So if nothing else I'm convinced they're going to be aiming for the PL as soon as possible which looks decades away currently. I also like that they're unlikely to accept any shot and will probably shake the place up. That is enough to have me excited, anything else they may or may not do would be a bonus

Just 5 several times
In essence, it goes to prove that given the right coaching and attitude, you can deliver more in a couple of weeks , than what Ross has done in well over a year. Hill has organised a club which were a shambles, no money to spend, saved on the last day, with a rag tag, thrown together team, who know exactly what their role is and will fight to the last man. I realise this isn’t your argument but it seemed appropriate

Agreed... People need to be pragmatic

I very much doubt that.

By all accounts our new American friends are very serious players.

I suspect one of the reasons they are interested in SAFC is because, having plummeted through two divisions, we are an almost perfect definition of distressed business - and with a price reflecting that.

I'm pretty sure that they expect the punters to be a tad restless.
Just a question pancho ..As i could not bring myself to watch the STID netflix series.... did they show any of the shall we say "more aggressive supporters" views towards the manager, team and owners of the time....Ive heard they showed the sadness and losss within the support and the loyalty ,but did we see anny of the numpties we get on here?Im just asking asking as if they expecting a tad restless support and find out we have significant number of Tad Bundy's within the fanship. In the end though I think the fans are just a tick on the balance sheet and any deal will always come down to money!

Same as you, I cannot bring myself to watch it so others will have to comment.

I agree with your final point.

They are buying potential.

The club is a relative basket case. I'm sure they are not expecting 45,000 happy campers.

Yes they did, there was one of the away games where people were telling the cameraman to fuck off (it suggested the camera was broken, but I think people who were there have said that wasn't the case), and of course there was the numpty giving Coleman abuse (when he responded about how many kids he's got!). It didn't show loads of it, but there was bits in there

I think that people are getting at the fact BZG set up a holding company to buy Newcastle same as this one in New Castle Delaware or whatever. This is completely different to that instance by the fact that it is also on Companies House website and has our ground as it's registered address.
if it only costs 30 quid why doesnt someone on here withe better IT skills than mine...log in and see if they can set up a dummmy company based at ""Sid James Park" company "gravy stain aquisitions" ?I wouldnt put it past a mag to do a wind up ,but i doubt it in this case!
