Just checked. He made 4 appearances for us, possibly all from the bench. My mind is playing tricks on me as it seemed like he was at the club for a while. In reality, it was probably only a few months.

I would have thought by investing in the city's football club it will open lots of doors for them to make money in other ways in the city ie regeneration projects such as Sheepfolds, concerts, american football etc.

A win win for everyone.

There is no motive for football journalists for it not to happen or for them to make things up. Local and regionals have too much to lose and the nationals won’t be interested

So they start by browsing for information, and then could post something bogus to get a reaction which reveals something they didn't know. Most of them will have very very good sources and will receive off the record info all the time . They just won’t print it .

Why wouldn’t they. Plenty of others have been doing it for years. You aren’t suggesting they have any kind of professional integrity or poses a moral compass are you. There was a time when it would have been unthinkable, that was then, this is now mate. There are journalists who have made no secret of their allegiances there is absolutely no reason why they couldn’t log on here and stir the pot.
Or use it as a source.
