I know we have to cut our cloth accordingly but I think that's a terrible approach. We are in a competitive industry and any edge you can get is important. If our scouts are basically freelance why would they have any reason to make sure we sign the right players over, say, Ipswich who may also be paying them? Why would they care about SAFC?

They should be employees of the club exclusively scouting on our behalf. In rare circumstances I can see using them to give a first look over someone on the other side of the world but having that as your general approach smacks of mediocrity.

I agree with you but Man Utd work the way we do for many of their scouts.

For example you get paid if they progress onto their next year, get a scholarship and then a pro deal all up until first team apps.

It’s a lot cheaper but it comes down to commission.

The fact 11 players cant pass consistently to each other over 90mins says the training they do during the week is shit basic 5 a side helps movement and passing get better yet we cant string two passes together we had just over 50% pass success rate last night

Naa that's just me. Don't get me wrong I'm excited/hopeful by the prospect of having mega rich owners, but there's lots to be done and a hell of a long way to go before we can start celebrating the fact.

Let's hope that the new owners see the light and sack Ross, then replace him with a manager that will be supported in the January transfer window. We need more quality in defence and the fitness of the players must be improved.

I'm not convinced that fitness is a massive issue to be honest.

Steadied the ship and got 4 American billionaires to invest (with 1 the 25 richest man in the world). They have played an abslute blinder and deserve a chance to run the club given that the billionaires are American and will not be hands on.

If 4 billionaire businessman (with 1 the 25 richest man in the world) think they can run the show with all due respect who are you and others to question them before they have had an opportunity to show what they can do with proper investment?

With all due respect anybody against Mr Donald or Mr Methven, given where the Club could be in the next few days, is either a Mag, a Wum or if a Sunderland fan fcking stupid.

I agree that you could do things with an App of sorts that gives you stats on the players. I know people quote Football manager ( nope never been into games) but I do think you need to get a feel of the player and how he works with the team! As for what we have brought in you would think they would be scoring goals for fun! ( I'm off to develop the Scouting App)
