Agreed - he wouldn't be hitting out at the fans if he didn't think he was off - he feels betrayed by us. The fact is - on a forum your get tortured but in the stadium he has had the support - the fans through the turnstile, but ultimately we have endured disappointment. Fair enough, give him another shot - but the pre-season friendly's showed us scoring was a problem and he still doesn't know the spine of the team. A good mananger always knows how to stop the opposition playing and scoring, the managers that always concede ultimately fail.

He does not know his preferred starting line up let alone any system...I cant see what he is aiming for as a playing style.
 
On the scouting network - in this day and age why do you need scouts to identify if league players are any good. You have tons of stats feeding into databases. Fair enough maybe watching identified players to get a personal feeling if they suit a style etc. I think of scouts as someone watching lower league football to pick out missed gems etc. The lads we've taken on are generally proven at this level so I don't think scouting is the issue - it's the picking up the better players (which comes down to paying a bit more) and training/systems (which comes from the manager).
 
I have heard from somebody close to a member of the coaching staff that they believe Michael Dell is obtaining an 11% stake in the club. ‘FPP Sunderland’ - consisting of Fuhrman, Platek, and Phellan is said to have a controlling share in the club of ‘over 75%’- as seen on yesterday’s developments on companies house. Realise this is my first post and so my credibility and reliability will be questioned, but that’s all I’ve heard with regards to the takeover.
 
wonder if ross would be getting better performances if he had the players for his fave 3 at the back formation?

pretty dire for a manager to be stuck on one style mind, needs to be able to change things.

We struggle to defend with four across the back. Three ended up an absolute nightmare.
