The registered agent name is the same though, which is a slight coincidence since there's loads of registered agents. I'm guessing the lad who posted it was worried in case it is FPP registering another company having decided to buy the mags instead, but I think we can be 99.9999% sure that isn't the case!

Is the other one not linked to the Kenyon group who are after Newcastle?

I think we all need to calm down a bit. To the best of our actual knowledge it's ticking over.
There could be more groups but here's 3 for now.

1. Those who think it's just ticking over nicely and will happen soon

2. Those who think it's dragging on though still hopeful something is gonna happen in time.

3. Those who just wanna drone on and cause ructions

I agree that we have doom merchants who see negatives in anything however there have also been posters who have been unfairly castigated for querying and pointing out over-inflated claims.
True People should be able to voice there opinions either side of a debate.
That's when this place is at its best
Its the vultures who jump in with their snide comments waiting for a like form the doomsday cliche that has pisses me off.

Its not fit for purpose. Hall said it was a carbuncle. And it needs a lot of money spent on it just to maintain it. For a new stadium they will have to buy land, put infrastructure in and then build it - a lot of money and time! For any potential buyer a lot to think about.

Contrast that to us...thanks to Sir Bob and his foresight. We have the land and a fantastic stadium that can easily go to 65,000 if needs be and an option of 75,000 if the Dell lads decide they want to take us into the stratosphere.

iirc, hall tried many places to get permission to build a new stadium including the town moor...all of which were knocked back by his 'jordy nayshun', hence the reason for the rather distorted sid james we see now... he wanted a stadium with more seats than the S.O.L. so pushed sid james beyond its limits just to get more than us...in the long term he probably has done more damage than anything else.

For me, it's the ones who just want a like or kudos from either side that is the problem.

Googling around, GACP Sports are the people backing Kenyon's bid for the Mags. They just used the same agent. You know, the same way that different people can use the same firm of solicitors. Nothing to see here.
Thank you for your insight Grumps.

The “money men” behind Kenyon’s bid, do we know if they are based in The USA, or elsewhere?

Pretty good assessment mate.

People knock Sir Bob about wanting more seats than them but it was actually Hall and Shepherd who are just as guilty when they rushed to build their lopsided carbuncle becuase as you say the nashun rebelled against them in knocking back their new stadium plans. Thankfully Sir Bob had the forsight to have the land and build a stadium ready made for expansion as and when needed.

At the time Hall and Shepherd's rivals were Man and Barcelona so they couldnt have little old Sunderland in their backyard with a bigger stadium...They built a lop sided carbuncle that now needs significant money spent on it just to maintain it. Any significant monies spent at the SOL will bring us a bigger, fully fit for purpose, beautiful and sexy stadium.

Fuck them all..fuck them all...Keegan, McDermott and Hall

Has it happened, when it's happening, does anybody know owt and what the fuck is going on here?

Is the thoughts I have before closing this thread during my daily check ins.
The USA. GACP is the sports investment vehicle of a man named Joseph Da Grosa. They own Bordeaux. Haven't been able to find out too much about net worth yet.

Is the interst as real as the other 102 times there has been reported interest in them?

trying to remember exactly but not the best memory in the world, he did feel his 'nayshun' would jump at the chance of a new ground, tried to keep it as near to the city as possible but ended up having to try further and further away...i honestly think that was down to most 'toon supporters' coming from the outlying areas rather than those nearer the city who, quite simply, could not be bothered with any possible further disruptions.

if that report is true and there is some structural damage it will have to be looked into, i think by law it would have to be reported to the relevant authorities as peoples lives could be at stake, no way will ashley put any money towards a new stadium or even to 'make safe' sid james, could be an interesting outcome.
