A while back, an accountant at a big firm (not a big accountancy firm, just a big company) I know looked over what he could of our accounts for his boss (a Sunderland fan) to try and decipher them. His synopsis was we were flying by the seat of our pants and anything unforeseen could absolutely ruin us. Make what you want of that but it doesn’t seem too wide of the mark to me!
