As much as I agree with you, I don't wanna be paying double what it is at the pumps as a consequence which would happen, the prices are already rising crazy fast
I’m sure the people in Ukraine welcome your support.

Edit. That might be unfair. I don’t know your personal circumstances. However, paying loads more for fuel to get this conflict over quicker seems a fair price

Yet another person, who apparently believes in democracy and free speech, but doesn't believe someone else should have another point of view
Yeah, but you don't have a point of view, you just parrot other people's while pretending that they're your own, exactly like you did last time. If you're that big a fan of free speech, try having some of your own. If you were on Twitter you'd be @PTID475759494.

From your post: "same bad guy: Milosevic, Bin Laden, Saddam, Gaddafi, Assad and Putin; the same Good Guys: US, UK, NATO and ‘our’ obedient clients".

Nevsky fund , cayman Islands shell fund of dodgy Russian money. 3rd biggest labour contributer
Of course the labour boys on here will say this isn't relevant.
Something should be done about it , it's taken a war to bring it to attention, and successive governments seemingly didn't see any issue.

I see someone has picked up on today's Tory brief.

That's a former hedge fund which had stakes in some Russian companies, which is a million miles away from the Putin supporting entities that should be targeted.

If you want to have a pop at Labour over something then Tony Blair's 2014 speech saying we should hand Ukraine over to Russia and join with Putin to focus on Islamic terrorism is the thing.

Very good spot, so @PTID is a Russian bot.

Really hope it's because there's no other choice.

It is according to this

I agree with @Harry Angstrom fwiw short term sacrifices should be made.

We could agree to America's wants on the sanctions in agreement they open their mothballed reserves.

The German chancellor is trying to install fear to his audience and is sayinf the price will hit consumers and people don't want that. People might want that given what is happening and why does it have to effect the ultimate consumer, supplying Ukraine must be costing a fortune so state intervention can be added to the cost. If might even make Russia crumble faster and the markets return to normal sooner, it may be cheaper in the long run.

I'm really not liking this German chancellor, he seems a complete pussy who is in Russia's pocket.

Can't remember who it was on 5 Live yesterday, but they said that if we don't buy it from them, they won't be bothered as China will happily take it and all we'll see is prices go up further.

Weird one.
I suppose things aren’t as black and white as we would want but it’s the principle.

It should all be stopped whatever party. However, the tories are in the trough way, way way more than Labour.

The difference between the Labour boys and the tory boys is we can admit when there is wrong doing.

You lot seem to have some obsession with Johnson and his lies. It is very weird.

In which case we need to add China and any other country buying Russian energy to the sanctions list.

It was a lunatic decision to rely on Russian energy and Ukrainians are paying with their lives.

Thanks mate, you have given me a genuine laugh just before I'm heading out for a nice bike ride.

Sorry if SEB

Us and the US are obviously in a better position to be able to boycott Russian oil & gas, but while other European countries are still buying it, then it's all a bit moot.

The fund was closed 6 years ago as well

Meanwhile Johnson heads off for parties with kgb officers offspring, ditches his security detail, gets sacked for being a national security risk and they think he’s doing a good job.
