Rumours about our nearest & dearest trying to get into the Wolves game

That remains to be seen. Hopefully they don’t venture out from under their stones.
To be honest I think the OP is just making shit up for a bit of attention. I've not heard any of these rumours, none of the fans I know have heard them, just sounds like a load of bollocks to me.

Time will tell.

I don't have face book so can't read what's being said but if someone is claiming that 7 people have made a post saying they are going to go to the Sol and take the piss that probably equates to a grand total of none turning up.

The whole thread seems much ado about nothing to be honest.

actually 777 going according to their hilarious facebook group, and 2.3k interested.

i think we will find that there certainly will be newcastle fans there, to some extent. as mentioned before, they will either keep their heads down, watch the footy, and go home to claim some utterly pointless 'victory', or they will let themselves known to be mags and subsequently, and rightly so, get their faces kicked off.

both options are those of bellend behaviour of the magnitude that only mags can aspire to.

Who is them?
Are you talking about Newcastle fans in general or is this some sort of organised soccer hooligan group if such things still exist?

Any Mags foolish enough to come to the Wolves match with the intention of taking the piss.

Personally I would only go to SJP to watch Sunderland

Remember when Boro did it in the West Stand? Pics in the Echo of them tumbling down the aisles

Some of your lot still go on about the 9-1 from 100yrs ago man.

Did Newcastle release t-shirts/mugs/a DVD about the time we beat you 5 times in a row? I barely even noticed it, in fact the only reason I'm aware of it now is because some Newcastle fans mentioned it in response to your lot crowing about the 6-in-a-row. Point being, every club's fans change criteria for success, change which results/competitions are relevant, think their rivals are inbred, illiterate, incestuous, scum. In this regard, we're not special, you're not special.

fwiw, I personally think any Newcastle fan going to the Stadium of Light for the Wolves game is a bellend and has let rivalry turn into obsession.

5 in a row wasn't a Tyne Wear Derby record though, 6 is, it deserved more mugs and t-hirts and that

I can't see it to be honest.
Just because some nugget posts something stupid and a bunch of what is probably mostly kids like it and say they are going doesn't mean it will happen.

I doubt there will be any there personally. If they keep their heads down there is no publicity and all they do is make your gate look better so there would be no point in that. If they make themselves known they will be in your end, vastly outnumbered and will get a good hiding. In my experience people don't like getting a good hiding so I can't see them doing that.

I think this starts and stops with a nugget sticking up something stupid on face books and a bunch of other nuggets saying they are up for it when they not an a bunch of people on a forum getting over excited about nothing.

My expectation is you will have already been relegated before the match is played, a poor home turn out and a good away turn out as they will be in celebration mode.
No Newcastle fans at all there to interfere with proceedings but time will tell.

I think that's the same for Newcastle fans, they will only go to the Sol to watch us play you.

If roles were reversed I think the same would happen, a small number of Sunderland fans would say they are going to SJP to take the piss with intentions of going.

Same here. OP said he "heard a rumour" Not much of a rumour when no one else heard it, but hey ho, it's accepted as fact on here.
Oh, by the way, isn't condoning violence at a football match all very 70's ? Stay classy though

A rumour confirmed by your dribbling basket case ‘fans’.

Unfortunately if they do turn up they will get what they came for, if they wish to turn back the clock to the 70’s then I’m sure there’ll be plenty willing to give it to them, what was that about staying classy? Here’s a thought, don’t turn up to a game that is of no concern to you, it’s not as if you haven’t done it before.

If we're already relegated which is highly likely, what would be the point anyway? It's not like the Gillingham game when it was a chance to see it happen .
As usual, nothing will come of it.
